Nirvana on Mother's Day
Right below a nearby shopping Center on the main drag is a sweet little creek. It is filled with thorny brambles, marsh, skunk cabbage, and some of the most pristine beauty in the area. No people. Lots of deer, and ground hogs. Dorje found a ground hog burrow, and waited there above it for 30 minutes without moving. That is natural mind. Pure awareness. Dorje consciousness.
I came home, struggled with calling clients to schedule for next week- Always difficult after being away from work for 3 solid days. Felt incompetent, then decided that it is up to me whether I choose to feel incompetent or not. I can have the thought of incompetence, and pursue it, or have the thought and pursue a practice like Kriya or mantra yoga. 5-10 minutes of yoga leave me feeling quite different, beyond competence/incompetence. There is no inherent reality in ME- the costume I wear - my ego- its competence or incompetence is really my choosing. The only reality is natural mind, Dorje consciousness.
